HIRAETHKL

Hiraeth KL makes unisex clothes from Kuala Lumpur. Baju Melayu sets and shirts that keep the classic shape and break one rule.

Four walls, nine colourways.

The whole current line, each colourway matched to a KL shoplot surface: monsoon concrete, a roller shutter, a zinc hoarding, a shopfront grille. Step up to one to see it close.

Hiraeth is a longing for a place, a feeling, or a version of yourself that stays just out of reach.

Hiraeth KL is a unisex label from Kuala Lumpur, out since March 2024. It starts from clothes everyone knows, the baju Melayu, the button-up, and breaks one rule on purpose: a clasp where a button should be, a hem that waves, buttons that refuse to line up.

It is slow fashion by choice. No mass production and no shortcuts, just considered design, good fabric and careful making, so the clothes say more than a logo would.
